Veteran-led U.S. advanced manufacturing

We make real parts and the systems that produce them.

Ravelin is a veteran-led, U.S.-based advanced manufacturing company. We run metal additive and CNC machining under one roof for defense and other demanding work, and we build the internal systems that make our production faster, more consistent, and harder to replicate.

Additive + CNC

Metal additive and machining in the same building, tied to real production.

Defense-oriented

U.S.-owned, FFL-07 / SOT holder, built for ITAR and EAR-controlled work.

Operational today

Active machines and parts shipping, not a concept.

Additive + CNC

Metal LPBF, polymer printing, and machining integrated in one facility.

Veteran-led

100% U.S. owned and operated, FFL-07 manufacturer with valid SOT.

Production-proven

Parts refined through real iteration, inspection, and field testing.

Systems-driven

Internal software that captures how we make parts and improves it run over run.

What we do.

Multi-axis machining, additive manufacturing, in-house metrology, and engineering support under one roof.

CNC machining

Multi-axis CNC milling and turning across steel, stainless, and superalloys.

Additive manufacturing

Metal laser powder-bed and polymer additive, integrated with downstream machining and finishing.

Metrology & testing

Full in-house metrology department with destructive and non-destructive inspection and testing to validate parts.

Engineering & CAD

In-house contract engineering and CAD support, including DFAM and DFM review of existing designs.

The engines behind our production.

We're building three internal systems that work as one. They learn how we actually make parts, who should make them, and what to automate next, so the floor improves with every run instead of relearning the same lessons.

Maistro

The manufacturing engine. It learns how our machines, materials, and processes truly behave in production and surfaces the best way to run each part.

Hari

The people engine. It maps skills and training to the work so the right person is on the right job, and growth is tied to real tasks.

Warden

The automation engine. It identifies where automation genuinely pays off and charts the path to make our equipment robot-ready over time.

Together they form a closed loop: Maistro finds what to improve, Hari decides who should do it or whether it should be automated, and Warden builds the path to get there. Over time the best way to run a part, staff a cell, or add a machine gets encoded and never relearned.

Not a job shop. Not an OEM.

Ravelin is built for a narrower, more strategic role: a small set of programs run very well with partners who can fully leverage both our manufacturing and our internal systems.

If you need a long-term partner for demanding manufacturing problems, we should talk. If you need the lowest quote on a commodity part, there are better options.

Fewer, deeper programs

Depth over volume

We'd rather know a small set of programs inside out than run a high volume of disconnected jobs.

Software that earns its place

Systems, not slogans

If an internal tool doesn't make the work better for the operator or the customer, it doesn't stay in the stack.

Who runs Ravelin.

A leadership team that has built and scaled real manufacturing operations, from the shop floor to the C-suite.

CEO — Sean Bernstein

A 13-year Force Reconnaissance Marine veteran, Sean taught himself CAD while deployed in Iraq, laying the groundwork for a post-service career in manufacturing. Before leaving the Corps, he founded an OEM manufacturing company in Ohio, driven by a vision to master every facet of product design and production. He later became a founding member and CPO of Irregular Design Group.

CTO and President — Tim Bell

A seasoned industrial leader with over 45 years of experience, specializing in scaling advanced manufacturing technologies from the shop floor to global C-suite operations. He combines deep technical expertise in additive manufacturing and AI-driven machining with a proven track record of driving business development and operational excellence for high-growth engineering firms.

COO — Kate

A highly versatile operations and strategy leader specializing in scaling complex programs and optimizing business performance across diverse sectors. They excel at cross-functional project management and financial modeling, with a proven ability to translate high-level executive strategy into measurable revenue growth and operational efficiency.

Secure by design.

Controlled systems, disciplined data handling, and an architecture built for defense-adjacent work. The goal is reliability, not dashboards.

Government-aligned architecture

Cloud and infrastructure choices are shaped for sensitive and ITAR/EAR-controlled work.

Controlled operations

Jobs, data, and communication are kept tight, so issues surface in review, not on the floor.

Continuously hardened

When something fails, the process and the systems behind it get updated, not patched over.

For customers and partners who need more than a vendor and less than a bureaucracy. Bring us the problem and we'll tell you straight whether we're the right fit.
